The Ghana National Union of Technical Students during their 31st annual residential delegate’s congress in Bolgatanga Technical University from the 17th to 20th November included electing new National Executive Council and a Coordinating Secretary.
Christian Akwesi Agyei won the Coordinating Secretary with 89 votes against his opponent Asor Asante Abigail who had 56 votes. He was sworn into office with other National Executives Council elect’s, these are H.E Aziz Abdul Abinye (National President),Saeed Zakariyya (National P.R.O), Zulfawu Apeba Issaku (National Research and educational officer) and Francis Inkoom Ninson (National Treasurer).
Christian Akwesi Agyei completed Koforidua Technical University in 2022 studying purchasing and supply. He held the position of procurement officer of KTU SRC in 2021/2022, climbed up becoming GNUTS National P.R.O in 2022/2023 and now the newly sworn Coordinating Secretary of the Union.
Christian Akwesi Agyei again extends the gratitude to all the students of the Technical Universities in Ghana for having faith in him by voting for him and he will also in turn put in his maximum effort to make the Union a better one. With special mention to Godwin (Fmr. KTU F.O), Seth (Fmr. KTU Stores Officer) and all who helped pushed the agenda to victory.
